80% of teenagers quit going to church by the time they reach their senior year of high school. For the first time in their life, they are being faced with big decisions and big distractions, all of which often pull them further from the one thing that can help them the most. Our goal within the GHBC senior high department is to see that statistic plummet. Discussing relevant topics such as God’s purpose for their lives, which college to attend, and who they should marry, our desire is to provide foundational grounding in the Word of God to help make this transitional process one to be excited about rather than feared. Weekly small groups, local outreach at high school sporting events, annual teen trips and monthly after shocks provide an environment that’s just as much Biblically centered, which they need, as it is exciting and fun, which they want. If you are a teenager looking for a group of other young adults to serve and grow with, or if you are the parent of a senior high teen looking for a group for your child, we welcome you all with open arms.
